In The Inn at Blue Hollow Falls (Blue Hollow Falls #1.5) by Donna Kauffman, Stevie Franklin isn't the best judge when it comes to men, but there's something about Noah Tyler that makes her want to take a chance. However, she's only in Blue Hollow Falls for a short time to help her best friend Sunny and can't see herself staying since she's a city girl through and through. Yet, the more time she spends with Noah and remembering why Christmas can be a joyful time of year, the more Stevie begins to realize how much she might be missing out on when it comes to love and happiness. Will Stevie take a chance on Noah, or will their happy ever after never happen?

This was a super quick read that I had finished within an hour, as Ms. Kauffman's writing is absolutely captivating and drew me in immediately, as Stevie has finally arrived in Blue Hollow Falls to help her best friend launch her new greenhouse business. Will Stevie fall in love with the small town and want to stay? However, it was from the moment Noah and Stevie met that had me hoping for the best for this couple, as their chemistry was instantaneous and fun as they get to know each other.

As for the dialogue, it was intense due to the main characters back stories, which should make them wary of relationships, and yet, Noah is more than ready to find his Ms. Right. Certainly, he sees something in Stevie that makes him think she could be the one. Will he win her over? Will Christmas be a time of miracles for the pair? Furthermore, there were some really good light-hearted moments between the hero and heroine that I absolutely loved and that made me laugh, especially in the moment where a touch of trouble strikes for Noah's B&B because of Stevie's willingness to help him with some cooking.

Moreover, the heroine is resilient, hard-working and I liked how determined she was to help her friend launch the new greenhouse. I also enjoyed the interactions between the hero and heroine, as Christmas is a wonderful time of year where everyone should have fun, which is something the heroine needs after all she's been through and I liked how determined the hero was to rekindle the heroine's holiday spirit and show her that love can be a good thing. While the hero, he's done well for himself and I liked how determined he was to make everyone enjoy their time at his B&B, even though everything isn't going according to plan with his chef being stranded and other troubles arising. He's also kind, caring, loyal and I liked how he earned the heroine's trust, especially in the moment when he needs her help and she turns out to be his Christmas miracle with everything she does to help him.

Overall, Ms. Kauffman has delivered a wonderful novella for this series where the chemistry between this couple was strong; and the ending had me cheering for this couple's happy ever after, as Stevie finally has a Christmas to be thankful for this time. I would recommend The Inn at Blue Hollow Falls by Donna Kauffman, if you enjoy second chance romances; the opposites attract trope; small town romances; are looking for a quick read that will entertain from start to finish or if you like books by authors Debbie Mason, Melissa West, Sharon Struth and Allison B. Hanson.

Stevie Franklin is ready to go all-out Grinch on Christmas this year, but a snowy trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains could provide some unexpected gifts...

Stevie is thrilled to help her best friend Sunny launch her new greenhouse business in Blue Hollow Falls. Not only does it give her a chance to visit the quaint location, but it’s a welcome distraction from Stevie’s recent bad luck with men. Just one catch: since Sunny’s home is under renovation, Stevie must stay at the local inn, whose amenities feature hunky innkeeper, Noah Tyler.

Noah may be as tempting as her grandmother’s famous sweet potato pie, but city-girl Stevie isn’t sticking around—and she doesn’t do flings. Yet when Noah’s chef gets stranded in a Christmas Eve snowstorm, Stevie can’t resist pitching in and serving up some of her family’s favorite recipes. The magic of a Blue Ridge Christmas is already rekindling Stevie’s holiday spirit and making her wonder what else she might be missing out on. Now can Noah restore Stevie’s belief in love?
